Most of you may remember that I pissed off @MattCutts while he was off hiking a few weeks ago. How did I do this? Well, I was doing some Amazon Mechanical Turk testing to figure out if I could manipulate the Google Suggest results for ‘brent payne seo’.

Well . . . after today’s launch of Google Instant. I find that ONLY the exact search query of ‘brent payne seo’ shows what I am dubbing a ‘Blank Instant’ page. Meaning that the term shows no results in Google Instant and has the ‘press Enter to search.’ text displayed beneath it.
Meanwhile . . . if you take a look at the Google Instant results for ‘brent payne se’ you get the following:
And if you type in any other random letter, such as ‘brent payne seop’ or ‘brent payne seom’ you get Google Instant results for those…
So . . . I am 100% certain that the term ‘brent payne seo’ has been banned from Google Suggest and, by extension, also banned by Google Instant.
NOW THAT IS VERY VERY INTERESTING!
